Why choose Mr Wynn Khoo as your POA tutor?

 

  1. Credibility

    • Being an ex-MOE teacher differentiates Mr Wynn Khoo from many other tutors​. Mr Wynn Khoo was trained by MOE for the transition of syllabus and he understands the syllabus well .

    • What the syllabus entails (mainly book-keeping) is vastly different from the actual real world accounting. 

    • Mr Wynn Khoo also keeps himself abreast of the updates in syllabus and the occasional disclosure from Cambridge to MOE teachers.

    • An accountancy graduate or an accountant may know how to do book-keeping, however, being able to practice accounting does not equate to being able to teach accounting.

How will I benefit from Mr Khoo's POA tuition class?

 

Under Mr Khoo's tutelage, the students will undergo a highly effective programme that closely monitors their progress. Mr Khoo makes use of specially designed quality lesson materials e.g. exam papers, his personalised notes to tie up with learning strategies that will maximise students' potential in scoring for Principles of Accounts.

Students will be tested at different level of difficulties for each chapter, through the careful selection of questions, which will increase the students' ability to cope with tough examinations. The strong emphasis on understanding concepts and not memorising is Mr Khoo's underlying teaching philosophy.

Graduating students will also go through a series of exam preparation time trial which follows the O levels requirements very closely. The practice will allow students to identify their weak chapters, and together with Mr Khoo's coaching, it will prepare them to be exam-ready before their prelims and O levels. 

 

Mr Khoo's methodology has a proven track record of lifting the POA grades of students from a D to F, to an A and B grade.

Where does Mr Wynn Khoo conduct his tuition classes?

Group POA tuition will be conducted at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, Bishan Central and at Blk 201E Tampines St 23. Many students do travel from far locations such as Bishan, Seng Kang and Changi to attend his POA tuition classes. This is because they find value in attending his lessons.

What do students need to bring along for POA tuition classes

 

Mr Wynn Khoo will provide POA notes, worksheets and exam practice papers during the POA tuition lessons. Students are advised to bring along a sweater and their writing materials.

Can I still join the POA tuition class at the mid or end of year?

 

Yes, getting help at the last minute may not be the best option. However, you will definitely find the classes beneficial and still see improvements in your understanding of the subject and also results.

May I request for one-to-one lessons?

 

Mr Wynn Khoo's schedule is fully reserved for POA group tuition at Bukit Timah, Bishan and Tampines. In contrast to home POA tutors who may not have the relevant teaching experience and structured lesson materials in place, Mr Khoo's detailed lessons plans optimizes lesson delivery. Through interactive group discussions, students are able to gain a better and deeper understanding of the subject content. This is supported by the proven track record as shown from the quality results produced and positive testimonials from former students.

 
What are the payment terms?

 

The month's POA tuition fees would be collected in advance at the first lesson. Payment can be made in cash / cheque made payable to 'Wynn Education Centre Pte Ltd'. Bank transfer can be made to OCBC Current account 522-123462-001. PayNow can be made to UEN 201700943D. An official receipt will be given.

What is the maximum class size?

 

The maximum class size is 8 to 12 students. This is done to ensure that the best attention is given to the students.

Do you engage other POA tutors to teach the lessons?

 

No. All POA tuition lessons are entirely taught by Mr Wynn Khoo. This is to ensure top quality in lesson delivery.

Will there be POA tuition classes on public holidays?

 

The Centre will be closed on all public holidays. If any lesson falls on a public holiday, a make-up class will be arranged. In the event that a make-up class cannot be arranged, the fee for that particular lesson will be brought forward to the following month.

Will there be a refund if I am unable to make it for a particular POA tuition class?

 

Students may attend make-up lesson on the other days of the same week if they are unavailable for their registered class. However, if the students are unable to arrange for a make-up, they are allowed to carry forward the fees of max. 1 session to the following month. There will be no other refunds. (No carry forward will be allowed in the last 2 months for graduating students.)
